Features of creating a sketch of a tree
At the beginning of the drawing lesson, it should be explained to the young artist how to draw trees step by step. Any drawing begins with the creation of a sketch, on which, with the help of geometric figures, a tree is depicted schematically: its trunk and crown.

After that, you can move on to colored pencils, having previously erased unnecessary details inside the drawing, drawn with a simple pencil. Colored pencils to create strokes, which are used to formalize as the outer contour of the entire crown, and individual ovals within it. Start such a work should be done from the bottom. The outer contour should be carefully worked out, as it will be the most noticeable. Inside, the upper branches should be drawn, which should be thinner and look fragmentary through the foliage. Work on the strokes should be thorough. The realistic drawing of the oak depends on it.
The outline of the crown is drawn with green pencils, and the trunk, horses, and branches with a dark brown pencil. After that, you can paint the crown and trunk with suitable colors, not forgetting to create sun glare and shading on the crown and trunk.
How to draw a pine tree based on a sketch
To draw a pine, which belongs to the coniferous species of trees, however, to draw the needles in the drawing is not necessary. This is too time-consuming work. When a whole tree of conifers is drawn, the needles on its branches are transferred with a special technique of applying paint or creating a special pencil outline, which transmits the general appearance of the branches of conifers.

- The area with needles should be given a fluffy look with strokes, with which their outline is drawn. The drawing created with a simple pencil can be colored with colored pencils or watercolor paints, observing the correct lighting. For this purpose, lightened areas are painted in a lighter green tone, and shaded areas in a darker tone.
- The trunk and branches are painted in the same way with dark brown pencils or paints. When using paints, make small strokes, mixing green and yellow paint in different ratios.
Tip! To avoid the blurring of paint on paper the sheet needs to be moistened with water with a clean brush and then painted on wet paper.
